This is my 4th year in UTSC. Over the past three years, I have been heavily involving in the Academic, extra curricular and UTSC Administration society. I believe by sharing my experiences and connections to the others, will be able to make their future better. In return, I will be able to explore more about this World from different perspective. In my first year, I was one of the delegates at the UTSC Chinese Debate Society. After entered into my second year, I was hired as one of the Student Recruitment Assistants at the UTSC Admissions & Student Recruitment Office, and I have been working there till now. In my third year, I have created TSCPA, and has been actively connecting UTSC students with many external organizations to improve their job and communication ability. Since then, I have managed my class and study schedule well enough to balance my time. Being the President at TSCPA has helped me to learn way more than being a normal student. |

Vice-President Operation acts as an advocate and resource for the academic issues of members, ensuring accessible, high quality education. The VP- Operation is required to lead the administrative team (Administrative, Finance, and Technical) in the association to service the members. The VP- Operation leads the following committees in order to support the high quality operation at TSCPA: Budget Committee, Executive Evaluation Committee, HR Benefits & Recruitment Committee.

Xian Yang ---- Vice President InternalBBA Economics for Management Studies & International Development Studies Candidate 2018
The VP- Internal is the secondary contact of TSCPA, one of the most important Executives within the organization. VP – Internal supervise two committees: Programming Committee (Events Directors) and Design Committee (Creative Director). VP – Internal is responsible for Events Programming for TSCPA, as well as the art and design production of TSCPA. This personnel is really insightful personnel, this position will be making a lot of important decisions throughout the academic year, and therefore, there are a number of executives to support this position. |
Christopher Go ---- Vice President Communication

As the co-founder of the Language Translation & Social Science Career Path Association, Christopher has demonstrated his passion in providing non-co-op Social Science students an opportunity to connect with a wide variety of employers related to their field of study while expanding their connections through job fairs and potential sponsors of the organization. Thanks to his strength in foreign languages and adequate experience in the customer service industry, he has been able to gather an excellent group of executives and expose the club to various firms and sponsors. He strongly believes that frequent exposure to future employers will increase the student’s overall confidence, skills and knowledge, which can be utilized in today’s competitive job market. As he enters his fourth and final year at U of T Scarborough, he hopes that interested candidates for his position will continue to strive and expand available resources with regards to sponsorship and job opportunities for non-co-op Social Science students. |
Charlton Chan - Vice President Business DevelopmentHBA International Development Studies, Economics & Sociology Candidate 2016
The VP- Business Development is responsible to support the Association’s future growth by proposing, and developing new features for events and marketing department. The Business Development Department is similar to the R & D team for a commercial company. This VP will also be the main designate to communicate with the English/Chinese Translation Program (CFL) to maintain a strong relationship between the department and the Association. This VP leads the Student Experience Team and the Competitive Analysis Committee in order to explore new features so to support the organization for further improvement. |
