Annual TSCPA Public Speaking Contest @ UTSC
TSCPA Public Speaking Contest is a student- organized and student-led Contest at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), started by the Language Translation & Social Science Career Path Association (TSCPA) at UTSC, which is the first translation club and largest Career Path Club at UTSC. Supported by the English Chinese Translation (ECT) Program, Centre for French & Linguistics (CFL), at UTSC is the first English Chinese Translation undergraduate programs in Canada. The TSCPA Public Speaking Contest is a one-day event for Debate & Impromptu, which Impromptu is available in three different language category – English, Cantonese Chinese and Mandarin Chinese to promote the multiculturalism and language dynamics in Canada. Students have the opportunity to compete in the following themes: World Peace, Education, Self- reflecting, business and future ideology, for valuable of prizes, and taking part in a social and networking session.
